Innovation for Homeowners

The Intersection of Luxury, Wellness and Water

September 21, 2025

Hi Reader,

In this week’s newsletter, we explore the convergence of luxury, wellness, and waterfront living through the lens of a cutting-edge lakefront community. We go further by combining luxury with practical homeowner guidance. After all, true luxury is having peace of mind—wherever and whatever you call home.

Luxury housing is no longer defined solely by square footage, exquisite natural stone countertops, exclusive brand appliances, or proximity to the best schools and shops. Increasingly, the true measure of “home” lies in how well it supports our overall well-being.

From architecture with pervasive connections to nature, to neighborhoods that nurture community, to décor and furnishings that reduce stress, wellness has become the new standard of luxury.

Our latest feature article takes you inside La Cova, a forward-thinking community at Lake Las Vegas that redefines what it means to live well. These newly designed homes are not just about beautiful finishes or expansive layouts—they are about creating spaces that heal, restore, and elevate everyday living.

As the wellness real estate market continues to grow at a record pace, communities such as La Cova point to the future of luxury residential living.

Living near water—whether it's a lake, ocean, gentle stream, or even a well-crafted swimming pool—can significantly enhance your overall well-being, as well as the value of your home.

The presence of water has a calming psychological effect, often reducing stress, lowering heart rates, and promoting a sense of peace.

Natural bodies of water encourage outdoor activity, mindful reflection, and deeper connection to nature, while private pools offer convenient opportunities for low-impact exercise and relaxation. In both cases, water becomes more than a luxury—it becomes a daily source of rejuvenation and mental clarity.

A 2022 study by American Home Shield found that residential properties with a waterfront view increased the value of a property by an average of 78.1%.

Wellness doesn’t exist in isolation, however. Whether you’re considering buying a lakefront home, managing a vacation property from afar, or even exploring overseas investments, the same principles apply: a residential property should enhance your quality of life, not diminish it, or overtake it with undue stress or worry.
